I dropped the Road King off with Noel the Harley Guru this morning. An initial look over by Noel got an approving nod and the following comments...
- It's been well looked after
- Reiteration that the Fuel Injection System used in 1998 was a bit dodgy
- Approval of the exhaust sytem that had been fitted, it was apparently expensive, you could repack it and "tune" it to be louder or quieter.
- Mentioned that this model might also have some cam issues butthat wasn't a concern if I was not going to give it a hiding. I'm not.
He is going to give it a good going over, service it, ride it and let me know if he comes across anything of concern. I left it there feeling it was in safe hands. Let's see.....
