After the first shopping trip, I was happy that my son had a helmet and gloves. That, in my mind, was enough to get him started. My wife didn't agree so she and I went back to the Big Bike Shop to look for a Jacket for him and she also wanted to see what the ladies Harley Davidson fashion had in store for her.
There was a ladies section in the Harley clothing area and she tried on every jacket that was XS in size. Some very nice, some not quite fitting. I think she decided on one, however she decided to put the purchase off for the moment. My wife likes to shop in Sydney and will probably look around down there before she makes up her mind. It's a little scary though, the last leather jacket she tried on was at Prada at 4.5k and I know she's got it in the back of her mind. I told her that I'm not sure how bug or dubbin proof Prada is.
She was very taken by a pair of Harley branded platformed strappy shoes (she put the picture of a similar pair elsewhere in this blog) although I don't think was very serious about them.
Anyhow, back to the Jacket for my son. My wife and he are similar in size right now, so we found a nice waterproof and semi armoured synthetic jacket that was perfect. $224.95.
