OK, my Harley-Davidson Road King stayed parked again today so here's a quick run down of the fun at Phillip Island for posterity.
- Up before dawn, 14k run
- Breakfast, clean up and on the 8.30 shuttle to the track
- Walked the southern end of the track this morning, it's further and after the run I didn't really need it. It was however interesting and gave a nice perspective to the track.
- Coffee and savoury muffins
- Motorcycles going very fast
- Pit Walk
- Bar opens
- Lovely Lunch
- Bar still open
- A great day's racing for the support events
- Big Storm
- Bar still open
- Biaggi comes second after losing it on the first corner and passing all but Checa, Biaggi the winner of the day really...what a rider and what a bike the Aprilia is (almost as good as a Harley-Davidson).
- Bar closes
- Smart enough not to get stranded at the track today, shuttle bus back to Cowes
- Nanna nap and quick change off to the Isle of Wight. No tonic still so off to the other pub (can't remember the name) which despite it's look was actually better (four choices of Gin!)
- A la carte three courses and some gin, but not too much, heading home tomorrow
- Back to Waves and packed the bike ready for a quick getaway.
