The Harley's arrived home

After dropping the Harley to the Bikes Only depot in Perth on the 19th of last month I was really looking forward to going to get it at the local depot and bringing it home.  I wasn't that keen on seeing how filthy it was nor was I keen to see transport damage.  Filthy it was, damaged it wasn't.  So opting not to insure the transport to the hilt for an extra $400 worked out this time.

Thinking back though, having ridden it 6200k's through all sorts of weather, heat, hitting a kangaroo, riding on dirt tracks, Heffy collecting a bird, it was more likely that the bike would be damaged riding it back than placing it in the hands of professional motorcycle transporters.  Great job Bikes Only, I've got your number and will definitely use you again.

Anyhow, picking it up was fairly smooth except for my inability to start it while the kill switch was in the stop position.  Once I got through that stupid moment though, away I went and the Road King was soon in the garage at home while I was busy considering options to get the thing cleaned up.  I most certainly am not looking forward to that.
