New Battery and Rego Check

Date:
By Wom Battle

Rego's due next month and the Harley guru told me that the new battery bracket I've been waiting for was in so I took the Road King down to the Guru to organise an inspection and fit the new battery/bracket.  It's getting close to needing a new rear tyre too, passed for now but booked in mid next month to get that done.

Interestingly the battery that was in it when I bought it was way to small, cheap as they come and I immediately noticed that, while I didn't have any trouble starting he bike before, there was no delay when pressing the start button with the new battery in.

With the rego inspection done, I was free to renew online: $103.00

Filled up with fuel on the way home $18.10 for 15.81 litres.

10k's travelled.
